Project  “Development and implementation practices of strategies for health-enhancing physical activities in local communities across Europe. (DEVHEPA)” Grant Agreement Number – 2015-2988/001-001 is a European project developed within the framework of the ERASMUS + program action Collaborative Partnerships in the Sport field.

Project main aim is to develop and implement local level health enhancing physical activities (HEPA) promotion action plans focusing on cross-sectoral cooperation in local level as described in the EU Physical Activity Guidelines, with particular reference to the need for concrete actions in local policy area. As a result physical activity level of European citizens will increase.

The coordinator of the project is Kekava Municipality Sport Agency (Latvia).

The project involves partners from six European countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Croatia, Italy, Turkey and Poland. Partner organizations represent different type of organizations – public entities, associations, sport clubs, etc.
